but nomi has insasne feats that it's no wonder he beat oliva "causing mini quakes with a stomp, crushing coal into diamond in 2 minutes roughly which means his grip alone is easily 100 tons which is insane. its his insane skill ans power.Ģ-Oliva has a huge weakness against grappling and grapple arts, i dont know why but the fandom always forgets that oliva is a superhuman bodybuilder, not a grappler, this is why when he met shibukawa he lost so easily even though he's physically stronger, he has no chance against a heavyweight grappler style like sumo let alone the perfect most powerful sumo wrestler.ģ-Nomi no Sukune is powerful as fuck: we can argue if hes top tier or not.
I want to say this: while i would've loved to see oliva fight more, he absolutely deserved this L fair and square but please hear out my points first:ġ-The Oliva Deadlift Feat: many people said he was nerfed but i understood perfectly that when tokugawa was talking about oliva's lifting skills "500kg" when we saw him left a helicopter as mere training, tokugawa was talking about what oliva CAN do, not what his physical limits are, i wanted to check this so i sent the raw version of that panel to a co worker or mine who speaks japanese and he said yeah, it doesnt mention limits more as capability, tokugawa said that to emphasize that nomi's weight was no biggie for oliva. many fans said it was utter plot armor and some even said itagaki was being playing favorites towards his new golden boy. Many fans including me were surprised at how strong nomi no sukune in this arc, however what surprised me and upset many people is that he took down biscuit oliva quickly. This is a huge spoiler for baki-dou (2018) so please if you are not up to date don't read:
